Sam Whitehead was named president of PriorityOne Bank’s Mortgage operations following PriorityOne’s 1999 acquisition of The Mortgage Centre, Inc., a company Sam founded in 1994. From its inception, Sam built a loyal customer base by offering a wide array of mortgage products, and by providing service that was second to none. Sam’s thriving mortgage lending business was an ideal fit with PriorityOne Bank's goal of providing all the products and services of major market banks, without sacrificing the friendly home-town service that our customers appreciate and expect.

Sam has over 20 years experience in mortgage lending and extensive training and expertise in secondary market financing. He earned his BBA degree from The University of Mississippi majoring in finance. He is a member of the Hattiesburg Association of Realtors and the Greater Hattiesburg Area Homebuilders.
